How come the supporters of the PNM are always told "stop voting race", or "you voting PNM because you are the same race"!

BUT

The supporters of the UNC/COP feel as though they alone could run the country and all they want is to "get rid of Manning"!

Is it then that when Africans vote PNM it's "race", but when the Indians vote UNC/COP they voting "for change"!

P.S: Last time l answered a question by Alister and l got 5 thumbs down but you know what, l got 10points for it!!

  1. Right on target dey!

But how about the Y?A Trini Posse campaign in the next election - we'll make good representatives!

Imagine passing a law on the price of doubles

  2. Wait..wait, wait...

i usually stay away from these topics eh, but here it goes..

i've been accused many times for voting for race last elections, when i made it clear that in my opinion the manning administration was doing nothing for this country, so dont say that indians dont get it... im telling u that we do, so please refrain from saying or even thinking that it doesnt happen.

and yes, i am "voting for change"

so let me ask u this, when africans vote for UNC/COP (and trust me, there are alot!!) what are they voting for?

oh, whats your point about the "PS" you & "Alister" apparently have the same views, so your point on mentioning it here is????????

    ______________________________

u believe that its nonsense to ":vote race"

YET, your statement is as follows,

"The supporters of the UNC/COP feel as though they alone could run the country and all they want is to "get rid of Manning"!

Is it then that when Africans vote PNM it's "race", but when the Indians vote UNC/COP they voting "for change"!"

arent u sarcastically saying that, indians arent "voting for change" but are voting cause of race?

your main questions was blatantly asking, why it is that if an african votes for PNM they get accused of voting race but when an indian votes for UNC nothing about ethnicity comes up..

    simple.

and yes, its alot of bullsh!t to see that some ppl,in this day and age think like that...

  3. Look is time the people see what these politrickians doing to us.

Vote along racial lines is a total heap of donkey dung, just see who is the big boys in PNM... eh Jerry Narace, Lenny Saith - the man who calls nuff shots. He don't ever run for office but he have REAL pull.

We could go so far as to say that Indians run the PNM but that will not go down well with some, so they put a few token Afro-Trinis in the mix who will bow to the Asian Tiger that controls the $$ in the party

On the other hand take Jack with all his $$$ funding the UNC.

We need to understand that the stupid race card is played to the ignorant masses only to benefit the choosen few.

In the end Big business really runs Trinidad if you ever deny that then sorry for you. Bas was given a chance but maybe the kick backs was not coming fast enough or big enough. Maybe he was not toeing the line. Hence his replacement - Manning the good puppy who will do as Massa say once he has his little office and police outriders.

So what we have to do is take a close look at the "king makers" in this country, see who really is in control and stop yes stop HATING your fellow citizen because of their race or party loyalty.
