  1. Dont feel bad about your daughter, my cousin was four when my aunt decided to get her her own chicken. (they live on a farm) when thanksgiving rolled around (she was still four) my cousin informed my aunt that she and my brother were going to kill the chicken and give it to my grandmother to prepare for dinner. Aunt has no idea where my cousin got this idea and tried desperately to persuade my cousin that it was suppose to be a pet...

  2. i think that you should feed it to the snake. cuz if you put it in the wild it will suffer. but with the snake. it will have a fast death

  3. i would feed it to a snake so she can experience seeing how a hamster suffocates instead of mice.

i would also do just for the torturing fun

  4. If the hamster is really mean, there is a great possibility of it biting the snake. People do not consider this, but many snakes have died of infections from bites caused by live prey. It's a huge debate for snakes to be fed live or pre-killed, but there are some serious risks to giving a KNOWN aggressive prey animal to a snake.

That said, a domestic pet cannot survive in the wild therefore releasing him would be cruel and thoughtless.

The humane society in my city will take small animals in, so perhaps the local shelter or humane society where you live would take your daughter's hamster? It certainly would be more beneficial to teach your daughter now that pets are a responsibility no matter how small or large, then by showing her that they are disposable.

  5. ewwwwww how sad...give it to someone who really wants a hamster...how saaaaaadddddd

  6. umm wow. maybe give it to someone who doesnt have kids and dont feed it to a snake or let it run off in the wild because it will get killed either way and thats cruel.

  7. let it go in the wild  but make sure it is a great habitat and if it dies it had a great life....... hopefully

  8. O M G You are insane. Yeah teach your daughter animal cruelty!! WTG

Take it to the humane society or put an add on craigslist.

  9. NO!  how mean.  take it to a petco or petsmart and they will find someone to adopt it.

  10. haha to the snake

  11. if its her hamster let her decide

  12. DON'T DO EITHER!!! Donate it or give it back to the pet store or put an ad on craigslist and give it away.

  13. Don't let it go in the wild! It's domesticated and has been feed by humans it's whole life. It won't know what to do in the wild and will most like dehydrate, starve, or be eaten.

It would seem she wants to feed it (basically kill it) to the snake out of revenge. Not a good thing if she thinks she can use violence or hate when something bad is done to her.

I suggest you sell it, give it away, or return it to where it came from.

  14. Sell it.

If you let it go in the wild, it will die, hamsters cannot fend for themselves.

Please don't feed it to the snake, it's so sad, your daughter will regret it once she sees the snake eat her hamster.

If you can wait it out, the hamster will most likely stop biting if you teach it.

If you want to feed the snake, buy some pinkies at the pet store.

Please give the Hamster a good home!

  15. dont put it in the wild because it WILL NOT survive and dont feed it to the snake because the snake may not actually be able to eat it...

just give it to a humane society

    they will willingly take it

  16. well either way if you let it out in the wild something will eat it... It prob wont last more than a few days I say feed it to the snake haha.

  17. DO NOT feed it to the snake, it's just a little creature and probably kept biting since it was hungry.I've never had a hamster so I'm not sure if all the bitings normal but I'd hope u let it free into the wild or give it away.

  18. hamsters cant live in the wild, feed it to the snake. your daughter sounds like a very caring kid. not.

  19. please let it into the wild.

dont feed it to the snake;; it's cruel.

even though it bites your daughter

just have it run free and move on.

  20. return it to the pet store.

  21. That is a really funny question!  i myself would feed it to the snake, if u let it in the wild it will probally get eaten by something else anyway.
