  1. Only diamonds are forever.

There's hope yet for all those people who believe in h**l.

  2. No; it's fiction.

  3. h**l is a place for unbelievers until the Great White Throne Judgment.  Then h**l and all its residents are thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity, but it is never destroyed.

  4. The value of the Book of Revelations is highly overrated in my opinion.

Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself and do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and that God would take care of the rest.

  5. No;  Read carfully

4 And surely every man must repent or suffer, for I, God, am endless.

    D&C 19:5

5 Wherefore, I revoke not the judgments which I shall pass, but woes shall go forth, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth, yea, to those who are found on my left hand.

    D&C 19:6

6 Nevertheless, it is not written that there shall be no end to this torment, but it is written endless torment.

    D&C 19:7

7 Again, it is written eternal damnation; wherefore it is more express than other scriptures, that it might work upon the hearts of the children of men, altogether for my name's glory.

    D&C 19:8

8 Wherefore, I will explain unto you this mystery, for it is meet unto you to know even as mine apostles.

    D&C 19:9

9 I speak unto you that are chosen in this thing, even as one, that you may enter into my rest.

    D&C 19:10

10 For, behold, the mystery of godliness, how great is it! For, behold, I am endless, and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my name. Wherefore--

    D&C 19:11

11 Eternal punishment is God's punishment.

    D&C 19:12

12 Endless punishment is God's punishment.

  6. Again, Sara, use a newer translation. Here is how it says it in the NIV:

"The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:13-15

In the Bible death is described as separation from God. Often fire is also a symbol of God's holiness and His judgment. So, the second death means eternal separation from God.

Whether the lake of fire is a literal fire I don't know. Because how could there be weeping and gnashing of teeth if it was a literal fire?

"This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."  Matthew 13:49-50

  7. Would not want to find out first hand.

  8. no one knows its all belief maynee

  9. nope

    no such thing as h**l

    Its a threat

  10. Let us get one thing straight ! I'm not! I'm a L*****n

P.S. shouldn't you be in the Mythology & Folklore ?

  11. Sure....in mythology.

  12. I believe most take the word h**l and use it several ways.  Yes h**l is thrown into the Lake of Fire. Revelation says that it is forever ( smoke from their torment ascends forever).  I am working on a paper on this and what I believe and why.

  13. No.

Even assuming the Christian idea of h**l exists, the nature of time is change and transition. Even heaven cannot be forever. Like h**l, it will alter as time goes on and eventually disintegrate.

Even in the Bible there are no accounts of h**l or heaven being maintained or preserved or any other accounts of efforts to continue them as they are or were. And even if there were, all things pass and all things eventually decay, wither, turn to dust, etc.

This isn't even a matter of science versus religion. It's more common sense versus religion.

  14. The only thing that is forever about h**l that is  punishment and that punishment is death total and complete as though they never were for all eternity they will never again need more punishment .When a fire is totally burned up just ashes hasn't the smoke of that gone up for ever and ever they will never again be any smoke from that fire not for all eternity.

  15. Unfortunately, in English we have instances where one word covers many meanings.  Look at LOVE.  Do you love your parents the same way you love a certain food?  Of course not.

The h**l that is thrown into the eternal lake of fire is not the same h**l that one is sent to.  When a person dies denying Christ as Lord and Savior, he/she is sent to the 'place of torment' to wait the return of Christ and the final judgment.  At the Great White Throne of Judgment, those who have denied Christ as Lord and Savior will have all their sins exposed and then will be separated from God for eternity.  They will join Satan and those angels who chose to follow him in eternal darkness and pain, a fire that will never be put out.

Maybe if you did some serious Bible studying to find out some truths instead of parroting half what you heard someone else parrot, you'd have a better idea about what will happen to you.

  16. h**l and everyone in it will be thrown into the lake of fire and burn for eternity.

  17. sara, what bible are you reading ,h**l  or sheol in the bible simply means the grave, not a place where you burn forever and ever, when something burns, it burns till its changed to ash, theres a certain church that has always threatened people with this burning h**l to the point that even the Protestant churches believe it,.read your bible and stop believing in fairy tales!  the bible teaches that the lake of fire was created for the devil and his angels!

by your question i can see you are pretty smart so when it don't make sense check it out   R

  18. h**l doesn't exist (except for that one Halloween when I found myself at one of those fake haunted houses.  You know the ones: they're run by baptist churches who just think they're being clever by trying to "take back" Halloween from those godless pagans.  I can't believe I paid five bucks to be evangelized to).

  19. well that's not what i belive. i dont have bible verses to back it up, but heres what i beleive.

first thing-i dont belive there is a h**l going on under the earth or under volcanoes or all that

the devil and his angels are on the earth doing what they do.

the bible never said that earth exist underground

    next

when people die, they sleep-wheteher in jesus or not and their breath goes back to god, not their soul. The bible said that man is a soul not a ghost inside your body. they dont think. they aint got no body, they are no more and so is their life and all that.

then when Jesus comes back the good in him rises and then the living in him.

the earth is destroyed and all the humans that arent in him are destroyed. the devil is on the earh with no one to tempt, nothing to do. he's in a bottomless pitt.not a place, but the situation he's in. the earth is desolate. only him and his demons are here. they aint raising h**l, cause there is no nations, no people or tempt, deceive and all that.

Jesus and the ones that followed him go to heaven for a thoudand years. they judge, they undersatnd why theyre in heaven and why some people are not.

then after the end of the 1000 years. theyre gonna come back to earth with the new jerusalem. Jesus feet will first touch the ground making everybody alive again (all those that werent in him). Then they will see why this is happening, why theyll be punish.

After that, god is gonna send fire and from heaven to devour everybody on the earth including the devil and everything else.

THE FIRE WILL NOT BE EVERLASTING, BUT THE EFFECTS WILL BE.

GOD IS GONNA MAKE A NEW EARTH, HEAVEN(SKY AND ATMOSPHERE NOT HEAVEN HEAVEN)

then everybody will live with jesus in paradise forever and ever.

there will be no more tears, no more pain and all that.

SO TO SUM UP, THE EARTH WILL BECOME THE LAKE OF FIRE DESTROYING EVERYTHING(AFETER GOD SENDS DOWN THE FIRE), BEFORE GOD CLEARS IT UP.

SO THE FIRE AINT FROM UNDER THE EARTH, BUT FROM HEAVEN.

THAT'S WHAT  BELEIVE IN. AND I THINK TEACHING PEOPLE THAT PEOPLE WILL BURN FOREVER AND ERVER IS JUST WRONG.

HOW IS A WOMEN GONNA LIVE WITH NO MORE PAIN NO MORE TEARS IF SHE KNOWS THAT HER HUSBAND IS BURNING FOREVER AND EVER.

WHY WOULD GOD EVEN LET SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN FOREVER AND EVER. THE BIBLE SAID THAT THERE WOULD BE NO MORE PAIN.

  20. The Bible doesn't teach h**l

  21. There's a clause, if you can reach the boundaries of h**l you can come back to Earth. Comics make more sense than the Bible babeh!

  22. h**l is eternal

  23. I see that you are very confused. h**l is the lake of fire. And The lake of fire is not really a pond of water with fire on top. it's a fiery lake of sulfur. And you burn and burn until you are no more and you are destroyed. (no the bible doesn't say that you will burn until you die as far as i know. but it's kinda what happens when you are thrown in a lake of sulfur.) It says you will be "destroyed" and "No more" so that's what is gunnu happen. (Hope i helped)
