ok, thousands of years ago, someone with a huge sense of humor, said to another person with an analytical mind, lets play this prank, lets take twelve signs and tell people that when they were born that it falls under one of those signs, and that by being under one of those signs comes with certain character traits, and then lets sit back and see how many people we can make actually believe this and for how long we can keep it going. And right now, those two, are laughing at all us believers. How would that make you feel if you were to learn that is the truth?

I wouldn't really care, ok ok, I would, I would be offended by that, however I am still what I am and nothing could change that!

i am a capricorn. I would say that astrology serves a purpose even if it is make believe. I would not be offended by the 2 who laugh at us all. I would spite them by thanking them for this tool that we use for such a great purpose.

astrology is used to understand the connections between people. it is used to understand each other better, and is used to analyze the reasons why we behave the ways we do and the reasons why we feel and think the ways we do. it is used to study the relations and relationships between people and their personalities. it helps us to understand how a large group of people can be so diverse and yet each individual in that group can be so much like someone else out in the world that they never even met.

let us say that astrology is pretend. it still gets us thinking. it still is used for a purpose in life. it still is serves its purpose. fairy tales open our imaginations, myths keep us skeptical, folklore gives us entertainment and so on and so forth. astrology gets us thinking.

Besides, todays astrologers and also asrologers of old have been studying the movements of the planets in order to calculate and come up with what they do for astrology anyways. so it is backed and makes for a fascinating subject of study and tool and hobby.

I was imagining a few days ago,what if people would just see how 12 people born on different months act and based on that they would just give them traits.I was imagining it before going to sleep.I believe in astrology,but it was simply interesting thinking how people discovered this system.

Well, I wouldn't care, because I have found astrology to be very accurate when the whole birth chart is taken into consideration, so I think the joke would be on them...Their little prank would have some truth to it after all.

I guess because I find more accuracy in numerology it really wouldn't matter to me if someone told me it was fake. I have found it to be true when I observe people. So even if it did come out as false because I have found truth in it I wouldn't care as much. I mean I am smart lady and if these things didn't add up then I would have found that out a long time ago when I started to study astrology!  



I like your question because it reminds me of the questions in S&R when they say what if you found out your religion was wrong or that there was no god.

i see your point. but astrology made me make sense of my behaviour and tendencies and helped shape ,make the most of and tone down at times.

not the other way around, i read about it then start to convince my self that i am.
