Letmeseeya eyes victory in the Grade OR Spring 545 Maiden at Mildenhall
The Grade OR Spring 545 Maiden is scheduled to take place at Mildenhall at 20:00 GMT on 27th March, 2012 where Nora Ban, Droopys Neale, Letmeseeya, Moaningvalentine, Seathwaite Clip and Saleen Scart will be racing for £100.
Letmeseeya is deemed the favourite for this race with the odds of 5 to 2. Trained by J. March, the hound has been in good form, performing in a steady manner. Going back to the beginning of the season, the hound has been turning in some good performances
since then.
His season began with a finish as a runner-up at Romford on 10th January, 2012, in the 575m race, where he was defeated by Airforce Jody by a narrow margin of ½ a length.
The son of Toms View, out of Let Me See, hasn’t been performing well in March, 2012. His performances have been falling short of expectations. This race will give him an opportunity to regain his former glory.
He finished fourth in the Grade S1 Owners’ Bonus Series – Heat 3 at Mildenhall on 13th March, 2012. He completed the 545m race in 34.94 seconds, whereas race favourite and winner, Blonde Playboy, finished in 34.38 seconds.
In the Grade OR Crayford Bookmakers Stakes, he finished in fifth place at Crayford on 17th March, 2012. Silverview Spott, the winner, finished first in 34.10 seconds, whereas Letmeseeya finished in 34.64 seconds.
Droopys Neale, son of Westmead Hawk, out of Droopys Sporty, started his racing career on 1st December, 2011 at Hove. This will be his fourth race at Mildenhall. Compared to the other hounds, he has less experience, but entering
with odds of 7 to 2 improves his chances of claiming a placed finish.
He succeeded over, Pams Hotdog, by an immense margin of 5 ¾ lengths at Mildenhall on 14th March, 2012 over 545 metres in 34.57 seconds. At the same track, he finished third on 20th March, 2012, in the
Grade OR March 700 Maiden.
He missed a finish in second place by ¾ of a length. Due to the fact that his performances have been consistent at Mildenhall, he may be able to bag the victory in today’s race.
Saleen Scart has been given the odds of 4 to 1 for this race. He has the familiarity with the track, as an advantage over the other runners as he has raced here for his entire career, with the exception of his career debut which took place at Perry
Barr on 11th July, 2011. He started his career in an outstanding manner as he triumphed over, Santiago Rose, by a tremendous margin of 11 ½ lengths.
Recently, his performances have been missing the mark as he finished fourth in the Grade S1 Owners’ Bonus Series Final on 20th March, 2012 at Mildenhall. He completed the 545 metre track in 34.69 seconds, whereas Swift Adriano,
the victor, finished in 34.19 seconds.
Letmeseeya is the predicted winner for this race, but Droopys Neale may be an obstacle in his way. Saleen Scart is likely to finish third.
