I have a HD Road King....I am 37 yrs old.....I'm 6'4" / 220 lbs with about 10% body fat.  I'm not an old fat guy who parks his Harley and poses next to it to show off.....I ride it, and ride it on long trips, which is why I purchased a touring model.

Any time Magz would like to challenge me in the weight room or any physical contest, he can find me and he will surely re-think how he seems to view HD owners.....or at least this HD rider

I'm sure his sport bike would out perform mine....I'm also sure he can stunt and go much faster than I on public roadways....but then again, I think doing that sort of riding on public roads is crazy and wouldn't ride like that anyway.

My last 2 bikes were a H-D 1200 Sportster and a Honda GL500 Silverwing (not the scooter). The Sportster was my long distance bike (did several 350-400 mile rides) while the Honda was great for putts around town. And no, I don't thing Harleys are perfect and j*p bikes suck. Each bike has it's pro's and con's. I do think the Harleys are the easiest to work on though. It was a lot easier doing mods to the Sportster then it was to do on the Honda. My favorite bike of all would be a Honda XR/XL 600 or 650 series bike.

As far as the other questions I'm 40, about 300 pounds, and 6 foot tall.

I'm 25 weigh 150, I ride a Suzuki Intruder 800, it's a cruiser. Not sure what magazine your reading but if someone were to try to pair someone my age up with a bike I'd imagine they'd guess some kind of sport bike, maybe a Ninja 900 or a GSXR. I prefer a cruiser, I like the comfort, I like the style, I prefer the image to that of a sport bike as well.

First off, for Nates information, j*p bikes were called rice burners LONG before they were ever called rice rockets.  Nate was probably still nursing the t*t when Harley, Norton, BSA, Triumph and BMW riders were calling my j*p bikes rice burners.
