ok because of the tomato situation. most restaraunts arent serving them. Do you realize tomatoes are one of the biggest expenses restraunts have? They are loving this. Here's what you do. Demand a discount. Arent you getting tired of being screwed with all the inflation due to gas prices? Make a statement.

It also works the other way as well.  Some people want more stuff added to their meal without a charge.  Restaurants are in business to make money.  If you go to the store and buy the makings for --say a hamburger, you must pay for all of the ingredients.  You can't tell the clerk that you're making hamburgers so all you need to pay for is the meat & buns.  Restaurants buy "EVERYTHING" and prepare them for your conveniece.  If one person dose'nt take something,  it off sets the cost for the person who does...

I AGREE!  I hate when places charge you MORE for cheese (i.e. a cheeseburger) but when you ask to take things off, you don't get a discount.  If there are burgers with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and you want it plain-no discount!!
