on global warming !!!!!!

it never rains around here it just keeps pouring down now do you believe? watch out all those who still have your head in the sand you might drown!!!

Global Warming may just be another upward cycle in the world's unpredictable weather or it may be a permanent shift in the average climate temperatures. I, in common, with all the scientists do not know for sure. What I do know is that the UK government are to blame  (as they are for nearly everything else) for allowing the South of England to enjoy most of the warmer weather. When will the North of England get to benefit from this rise in temperature?

Funny, here is something you will soon see that most alarmists and skeptics agree on; localized temperature variations and weather conditions do not prove nor disprove AGW theory. Some places are warmer and others are colder. It is steady variation over time that is tracked. Well most will agree on, sometimes the alarmists will argue that occasional rare weather extremes are proof that its happening, but there have always been rare weather extremes, everywhere! So it is raining wherever you are, if it doesn't happen often put on your best white t-shirt and runaround and enjoy the rain, it will be a treat for both you and your neighbors.

I don't know what to think to be honest. Is is GW or is it natural climate change, I mean we had an ice age once and we weren't responsible for that were we, or perhaps it was dinosaur farts (sorry!). Seriously, I think it's hard to prove it is the human race causing it but even if we aren't we should still be plowing ahead with renewable energy etc.

I think that the floods are nothing to do with global warming - if you concrete over the land then the rain still needs somewhere to go!  It should be common sense!

id take some gw right about now.  all you people that complain about it try comeing up north and you can freaze when its below zero.  plus weve had an above avarage amount of snow so far.

I doubt that it "never rains" where you live. It even rains in the Shara Desert. Thus you have just given more prof again that GW types exaggerate making the GW claim even more far fetched.

Pouring rain is proof that the globe is cooling.

Colder air can't hold as much water, so it falls as rain.  If the globe was warming, you would have less rain.

well I'll keep my answer pretty short, I know for sure our climate is changing. of course the climate always changes and it did back then when we had the ice age. but i think now with all of our technology, that we're increasing the change. It isn't supposed to happen this fast, and it is. climate change is inevitable but we shouldn't hurry the process to a quick death.

the proof is in the ice drills they take from Antarctica and the Arctic- those ice cylinders contain the last ten thousand years of climate data- ice hold carbon dioxide and methane gas in it forever- those cylinders tell of an earth that up until the 1960s had a balanced carbon and methane atmosphere- it is clearly evident since man is the main producer of methane, carbon dioxide, cluoro fluoro carbons and pollution in general it is our cause and yes those who answered above me have their head deeply buried in the sand and will until their homes are flooded or their lands are burned by dry lightning when the water supply is "mysteriously" shortened
