  1. You can start by looking at travel sites like expedia, priceline, and hotels.com. If your having finacial problems right now, hawaii may not be the best choice. Rooms can range anywhere from $200-$500 USD a night. California is a good choice places like Santa Barbara and Baja California are nice places to go. I have no clue where you are traveling from so your air fare expenses can range. You can start saving money by not spending it all! Try gettig a part time job just for a little while to save up some money for this trip. If you want to find some good deals. Look at expedia.com and click on vacation packages or deals. If you going really soon.... look at the section called last minute deals... hope this helps!

  2. I know you said coming to CA (that's where I live) or Hawaii is your main goal but I just wanted you to know about this option because Europe could be just as cheap and MUCH easier to plan through EF College Break.

    you should DEFINITELY try EFCollegeBreak.com

they have a big selection of trips (anywhere from 1week to 1month) from Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Venice, Greece, etc.

If you're worried about costs, they have the guaranteed lowest prices for college students....so you and your friends would have a blast for the lowest price. Plus, you can use the discount code: Tiu9005 to get an EXTRA $50-$250 off your trip.

Also, they do a payment plan which is awesome so you can save up as your trip comes...pay off each month instead of one huge sum. Trips can be as low as $1500...and this is for over a week seeing major cities in Europe!

EVERYTHING is included in the price (hotels, flights, travel logistics with trains and boat rides, as well as seeing major attractions) so all you have to worry about is the spending money you're bringing because they do the rest for you!

(ps what I've done to save up for trips is set up a little piggy bank or something that i put money in everyday for...even if it's just change. And I asked for money from relatives and everyone haha)

good luck with everything, I hope this gave you some new options to think about so you know that you don't have to spend a lot of money to travel!

Email me if you have any questions about my trips or about the company

    xoxo
