No, because if I were the last person on Earth, I would most likely have been driven to the point of either insanity or suicide.

Why would that be neccesary at all? If you are the last humian on the Earth, you should be trying to find a farm or something and live the rest of your life (by yourself, sadly) without starving. As the guy above said, yes, don't waste your time yelling out stupid things. One second is precious to you in your situation.

Very good idea in this and many other very serious situations.  I wish I could remember to do it more often!

As one guy I chose for awhile as an advisor once told me, "The things that are bothering you are far too important for you to take them so seriously."

Actually, it turned out that the guy was actually a real villain -- whose life pursuit included a myriad of evil plans that badly hurt others.  Which is food for thought, too.

So like they say in AA: "Trust God, but lock up your bicycle." And keep an eye on your own sanity while you're at it.

Well, if you're the last person on earth, that means that you're the last being alive to be able to understand the meaning of someone shouting something, therefore if your mind "gets mileage" out of your shouting "I'm not taking this seriously!" then yes. The same is true for the opposite.

If I was the last person left on Earth, I know for a fact I would be shouting  out..."It figures! Mother Earth always loved you guys best!"

      I would NOT be searching for a farm to tend for food. Well...maybe some herbs to go with all the canned Spaghetti O's left over.   That's about it. I would spend my time singing Bob Marley tunes with all the cats & doggies roaming around in the War Free World.

     We (the animals & I) wouldn't take anything seriously.   Yeah. We gonna "Stir It Up"  We're havin a "Punky Reggae Party"    I'd invite you, BUTT!! everybody's dead......except me.

Your suggestion sounds better than, "I'M ANGRY AS h**l AND I'M NOT TAKING THIS c**p ANY MORE!!!!!"  But, then again, why would you be yelling anything with nobody around to hear it????

Your suggestion has more merit in the "Here and Now."  I am often frustrated by people who become angy at the drop of a hat and who act in a dangerously impulsive manner.  I'm going to try using your phrase more often.  Thanks for the reminder.
