Urijah would not be the same fighter if he gained 40lbs. He would become much slower, and speed is one of his greatest assets. A. Silva was able to do it because he walks around at 220. Faber probably walks around at 160.

I usually don't answer "this guy vs. that guy" questions with much seriousness, but this one was different enough to warrant a response...

Think about this for a minute. If Faber were to put on 40 pounds, at his size, he would have gained himself right out of contention. He's 5'6" and 145 now, so 5'6" and 185 would be stretch of herculean proportions. That's a lot fo muscle to pack on considering the shape he is in now. I wouldn't call it impossible, but adding 40 pounds to his frame would, in my opinio, have a decided negative effect on his ability. He would be slower, likely less flexible, and would most likely get gassed much quicker. One of his strengths is his ability to keep his intensity up for his entire match, and 40 more pounds of weight would make it tough for him to last a full match.

On the other hand, at 6' 0" and 235, Emilianenko could stand to lose a few pounds and lean up a bit. Don't know about FORTY pounds, as this would cost him muscle, but dropping weight for him woul not have as drastic an effect as Faber gaining.

And Emilianenko is more skilled than Faber, so if this fantasy match were to occur, Emilianenko wins by KO or submission in 2.

Urijah is nowhere near the level fedor is. And he never will be.  He dominates the WEC. Sure, but if he fought guys like Griffin, Penn, Florian etc. hed get molested.

Correction. He DID fight griffin and he did get molested. He was knocked out badly.

NO YOU GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. Show me in that post where it says Forrest griffin. IT DOESNT. Additionally, one who knew anything about MMA could tell that bj and florian and tyson are mentioned in the weight class that Urijah would fight in if he came to the UFC. IT IS IMPLIED THAT I MEANT TYSON GRIFFIN,  A LW, As opposed to Forrest griffin a LHW.
