  1. I don't have a favorite player but, I have been through it before and it is really sad.  When your favorite retires, the game seems to lose a little bit for the first few games of the next season but, if you are a lover of baseball all around, you will get over it and continue to love the sport.  I have found it easier to just stick with my favorite team that way, I have oodles of favorites so I don't worry about losing just one favorite.

  2. Even though Timmy wont Retire any time soon

He would be irrplaceable, he is has one of a kind talent

  3. I really don't like thinking about it. But, I guess it's inevitable, because as much as we like to think so, Derek Jeter is not indestructable.

So, when the time comes, they'll replace his skill at shortstop and with the bat, and probably the next player will be better. But his voice in the clubhouse and his popularity with the team... it's probably something we won't see again in this generation.

  4. C'mon now! You can't replace my man! Are you kidding me?

  5. Replace him, life goes on.

  6. My favorite player on the WHite Sox is Juan Uribe, who was replaced.

But my second favorite, Jermaine Dye, could be replaced by Brain Anderson, Jerry Owens, and others. The White Sox have a lot of players in AAA that could play at the MLB level. So almost everyone on the White Sox couild be replaced.

  7. My favorite players currently are Mike Mussina and Hideki Matsui....Mussina should retire in 1-3 years and he is obviously replacable but he has been great. Matsui is replacable through the free agent market or even from the minors with Christian, Gardner, or even Austin Jackson.

    How was camping?

  8. I don't wanna think about it! lol.

Varitek's leadership qualities are irreplaceable. That's not even up for debate.

Sure, the Sox can call up Dusty Brown & George Kottaras or make Cash the regular catcher. They'll get the job done, but no one is gonna come close to having as big of an impact on the Red Sox as Varitek.

  9. well, derek jeter is not replaceable. but, they stick another player out on the field to show what hes got. its sad and stuff, but theyve got to retire sometime, and new players have to come up sometime

  10. Favorite Player is Soriano.

and they have been doing it the hole time he has been hurt.

Move DeRosa to LF and put Fontenot and 2B

  11. As much as I hate to admit it, Mike Redmond's playing days are ticking away. The day is coming sooner than I would like it to, so I've been thinking about that a bit.

He will always hold a special place in my heart as probably my all-time favorite player. I can replace him, but it wouldn't be the same. I like a number of players, so I could find a new one.

Right now, Brendan Harris has become one of my favorites, so when Red retires, it will be probably Harri.
