Letter didn't deliver, what does this mean?

Hi

I sent a letter by special 1st class dleivery. It has been returned to me and the sticker on the envelope says it wasn't delivered because 'not called for'. What does this mean?

  1. Sounds like adressee has moved, refused delivery or was unavailable for required signature.


  2. It means that the person you sent it to didn't pick up the letter at the postal outlet within the time limit.

  3. its possible the address has changed or the person you sent the letter to has relocated and there was no one around to sign for it.
