Letter of consent for 16 year old flying ?

If a 16 year old wishes to fly alone on a certain airline, they may need a letter of consent from the parents/legal guardian. Do they need this at time of booking or for when they are checking in at the airport?

  1. checkingi take it, but i flew with easy jet and british air ways alone i am 15, i bought my ticket at the airport and didnt need paretal consent.

  2. I think you would have to present the letter when your checking in. Just have it with you at all times when your at the airport.
