Question:

Letters off Jersey top?

I have a random question going out to all you volleyball players out there.... I have a black Mizuno jersey top that I got from my club volleyball team. Tomorrow is our first conference match for high school volleyball and I'm playing the position I've always played of libero. Up till now i've always worn a tee-shirt for my uniform, but found out that this black jersey would be totally legal, if i could get the name of my club team off the back. It's almost melted in, and it may be a hopeless cause, but i though that in case some miracle seamstress out there got this, i would give it a try. This would save our team money as well, something we are in desperate need of. Thanks!

  1. Sometimes you can try wearing a jersey inside-out to keep any print from being visible to anyone.

  2. yeah if its going to save ur team money go ahead and wear the black one. even if u cant get the letters off. im telling you just put a peice if tape. like sports tape on the back of to cover it up.

  3. ya i would say that it probaly wont come off but it would be easy to cover with either a piece of black material sewn on or a school emblem would be cut like a school sticker or if you have a old school t shirt that u can cut you can always take a piece off of it and sew it on it. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Why don't you just cover the name with electrical tape?? It's black so it will blend right in. If not, you could always take a black piece of cloth and sew it over the name. Hope this helps give you some ideas :)
