  1. I personally think that is way to young. Whatever you think because you are her parent but I would definetly say no.

  2. wow, that is YOUNG

and i am al for piercings but 11???

  3. Um heck no.  What does an 11 year old need a pierced nose for??? A lot of schools won't even let them have piercings with dress code.  Seriously why?

  4. Way too young.  I'd say shame on you if you let her do this now.  Imagine what things she'll want done later in life because of this one incident at 11 years old.

  5. Although it seams like she wants it. She will regret it later. you should do ther right thing and not allow it. You don't get any respect as a 23 year old with a nose piercing. She will thank you later!!!

  6. I would let her. I am getting my tongue done for my 12th birthday. And at 14 I am getting my nose done.

  7. Bad idea, if you wanna let her get the piercing, fine. But, have a professional do it, least she get an infection.

  8. Why does she need one? Oh, I know why, because she wants to show it off to her friends. Her school probably won't allow it and make her take it out, and soon enough it will grow over, thats a waste of time and money. Plus nose rings can cause really bad infections, maybe get one for her on her 16th birthday, but 11 is just a little too young.

    Good Luck =)

  9. If she wants to, fine. The school might have a problem with it.

Actually, when she's 16 her job will probably make her remove it, so she's got five years.

That's the problem with waiting. If you want until it's appropriate, it's inappropriate again, because by the time you're 'old enough' to do crazy things with your appearance, you have a job to worry about.

  10. no no no no no no no no  I;m sorry but besides most likely being against dress code her nose could grow badly. you should have Waited till she was fully developed. She also runs the risk of infection.

  11. Nose piercings don't even look attractive, and are banned by a lot of schools. What's the point? "Look at me I'm such a rebel"? Nobody cares. But if your daughter wants to look ridiculous, let her go ahead.

  12. I think it's terrible.  I think a parent who allowed it is terrible.  Honestly..I would not let my child at your home because you lack judgment skills

  13. I let my daughter do it ..but then she got a cold and it got infected and she couldnt keep her hands off it and that meant more infection...so we took it out for healing and got it redone later

  14. definitely not.  If you even have to ask other parents their opinion on this, then that should be a dead giveaway that it's not appropriate

  15. no way-most schools won't let them-especcialy if your daughter has sports/PE Lessons on that day

  16. I wouldnt allow it. But like another person said you are the parent. I let a friend pierce me and they were a professional and it still got infected horribly and I had to take it out. I think it was because it wasnt in a actual office.

  17. are you seriously even considering that???

  18. It's horrifying to me that you would consider letting such a young girl do that. If I saw her on the street like that I would think that the mother must be out of her mind. Besides the fact that the little girl would look like a ridiculous clown.

  19. I would not have a problem with it if I was you! If she wanted it! HAY! Let her go far it! It couldn't do that much damage! It also probably looks super kool!!

  20. you do not want your daughter wearing something so classless. It is a bad reflection on yourself as well as her. While the opinion of the crowd only matters so much, you do not want people judging your "baby" and stereotyping her, no mother does.

  21. i would be all for it

i had a friend with her nose pirced in the 4th grade.

personaly i think nose pircings look AMAZING

and now she wont ask you constantly.

i think that if she wanted it then you were justified in letting her get it.

h**l; its her face. she has to wear it.

  22. NO NO NO! She is way way way too young , 13 at the earliest , but 11 , she isnt even a teen and shes getting odd pierceing , and not even having it done perfsionly! She is bound to get an infection!  Whats next a lower back tatoo?

  23. i got my nose pierced when i was 13, i stopped putting studs in it after a year cus i got sick of it. but the hole is slowly closing. so if she doesn't like it in a couple of years then she can just simply stop putting studs in it and it will eventually close [it takes awhile though]

she is a bit young, but i don't see the problem. usually kids who have over protected parents become rebels and the ones who do bad stuff.

but parents who let their kids experience life and stuff usually become well behaved teens.

My mom is not over protected at all, she lets me do pretty much anything.

now i'm a teen i'm really mature for my age, and i don't do stupid stuff that most teens do.

so don't listen to what people say.

  24. If you already did it, why are you seeking opinions on it now?  I wouldn't have let her do it, but obviously you are either regretting it, or looking for justification for it already.

  25. 11 years old is a bit too young for a nose piercing but you are the parent so whatever floats your boat.

  26. Did you check with the laws in your state?  Is it legal to allow a minor to have her nose pierced even with parental consent?  Some states do not allow anyone under 16 to get piercings even WITH parental consent.  They allow 16 to 18 to get pierced WITH parental consent.  Also if your friend did not do this as part of her profession (as in in her place of business) and if she did not charge you for it then she also broke the law there.

  27. well, i knew a girl that was 12 who had a lip piercing, and i dont think its that bad

My sisters got it around that age too

if the person who did it is a professional, and theres no health/infection problems

    then why not

yess it is a bit young but your the parent and whatever you want your child to do, go ahead

  28. I would say no even tho i let my 11yr old  have a second hole in her ear. It is a tiny stud that is cute on her, but definitely no more piercings

  29. NO, I do not think parents should ever authorize the mutilation of their children.  She does not need it.  She may regret it in the very near future.

You are the parent, she is the child.

I would especially not let a "friend" do it.  Infections and diseases are real.

What is wrong with being natural, no piercings, no tattoos, just clean health skin.

There are many people who obtained tattoos who now regret them.

  30. Uhmm.no.

    Bad idea.

Do you really want your 11 year old daughter to get her nose pierced, and having people teasing her about that?I will NEVER let my 11 year [when i have one] get her nose pierced.Never.Tsktsk.

  31. next she should get some tatts, then you can give her a bottle of booze some needles and set her out on the corner.

she's 11! seriously, WTF were you thinking?
