But, having been at the club for the past three years, I have an advantage in that I know the players,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, club director Wolfgang Holzhauser stressed that the club had to make a decision after the recent round of poor results. He admitted that the fans want to end the current season on a high and qualification for the UEFA Europa League is crucial.
“We had to act and to make a statement to pursue our goal of international football for next season with fresh energy,” he concluded.
