Lewis Hamilton feels fully motivated for 2013 winter – Formula 1 news
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has said that he is feeling fully motivated for the winter testing of 2013 Formula 1 season.
Hamilton has joined the Silver Arrows in this season and is determined to attain competitive results with his new team. Even though, he has been surrounded by many speculations that he may struggle in this year because the Brackley based squad faced a lot
of difficulties with their car during the last season. However, the 2008 world champion has said that he is looking forward to come up stronger in this season and is aiming to score competitive points right from the start.
Furthermore, he said that although the competition will be tougher in this season. But, he asserted that he lives to win and will try his best to beat his major rivals in this year’s championship fight.
“I live to win,” Hamilton said in a Mercedes video. “That's what I work towards every year so that's what we're going to work towards this year. Of course it's going to be tough to beat the guys who are already at the front, the Red Bulls, the McLarens,
the Ferraris but I don't think it's impossible.”
In addition, he expressed great delight over his visit to Mercedes’ factory in Brackley. He said that everyone at the factory was very enthusiastic about the season and is targeting to make the most out of the winter testing in order to develop a competent
car.
“It was great to see how enthusiastic everyone was. It looked like there was incredible determination to turn this thing around and that gave me a lot of motivation for my winter.” he added.
Besides, he said that he is expecting an interesting season and is earnestly waiting to deliver his best for his new team.
“I think this year's going to be an interesting year, an interesting journey,” he said.
The British driver is going to drive alongside Nico Rosberg in this season. Let’s see how he competes with his main opponents and whether he will be able to come up the expectations of his team or not.
