Lewis Hamilton; happy after virtually test driving his car: The British top Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton is happy after his first McLaren virtual test drive. He has also stated that he is much more confident for the next season after
virtually driving his car in a simulator at the McLaren technology centre.
The twenty five years old veteran racer has recently spent some time in the simulator to test his McLaren car for the next season. Now Lewis Hamilton looks pretty positive and inspired for the next season of Formula 1. After the virtual drive the Englishman
expressed his thoughts pretty happily and told the media that his car is perfect for the next season and it felt great while driving his modified car in the simulator.
He added that he is very satisfied with the car’s performance and he is very sure that the quality of the car will improve in coming stages. Hamilton tried the tyres of the car for the first time in a simulator but seemed very keen and confident about the
performance of the new Bridgestone tires of his car.
Lewis Hamilton told the media about his experience and told that it was very good experience for him and his team mate Jenson Button. He added that the test drivers of McLaren developed the model of the tyres to be checked by us on the simulator and so far
his experience went perfectly well.
Hamilton told the media about the newly added Bridgestone tyres and said that the new tyres are a little bit different from the previous tyres. He said that the current back tyres are slightly weaker as compared to the front tyres of the car. The 2008 world
champion racer said that the team will work over the tyres again and he is very hopeful that the problem will be solved pretty soon.
Currently all the Formula 1 racing teams are preparing for the next Formula 1 season. Therefore the Formula 1 racing teams are making essential changes in their cars to start the new racing season in a better way. Racing team McLaren is considered as one
of the best racing team of the Formula 1 world and its drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are also considered as two of the best drivers of the world. Lewis Hamilton had won the world championship title in 2008 and on the other hand his compatriot team
mate Jenson Button had also won the top rank of the Formula 1 drivers in 2009.
It is also to be noticed that Formula 1 as introduced some new rules and regulations for modifications in the cars. According to some news reports the racing team McLaren is working over the new Kinetic Energy recuperation system which gives the car an additional
power and acceleration. Moreover the team is also working over a new back wing to improve the performance of the car while overtaking another car during the race.
While talking about the matter the Briton Hamilton told the media that the Kinetic Energy recuperation system gave the best result during the test and there are some issues with the back wing of the car which will be sorted out as soon as possible.
On the other hand the thirty years old team mate of Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button has also expressed his views about the matter and has said that he will test the new parts of McLaren on simulator very soon. Button added that he is very hopeful to start
the season in a better way as the team McLaren has worked really hard to upgrade the car for the upcoming racing season.
According to Lewis Hamilton, his expectations are very high regarding the new season. Hamilton thinks that he is very confident that the New Year will be as crucial and challenging as the year 2010.
