Lewis Hamilton is still keen for the title
The British top Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he is not ready to give up for the Formula 1 world championship title of the ongoing season. The 25-year-old veteran is still hopeful to give his full to clutch a better position and result
in the upcoming races.
Currently the Briton is lying on the fourth position in the overall standings. Australian Mark Webber is leading the points table and is twenty eight points ahead of Lewis Hamilton. The point’s gap between Webber and Hamilton is very huge and Hamilton needs
to win more than one race out of the final three remaining races of the season.
In a very recent interview the former world champion expressed himself and told the media that the title is still open as every race counts. He expressed his plans and ambitions by saying that he will fight until the last moment to clutch the glory. He added
by saying that he has learnt a lot from his previous mistakes and he is not ready to give up anymore. Hamilton told about Kimi Raikkonen and said that Raikkonen's example is very vivid for us, since in 2007 Raikkonen was seventeen points behind the leader
with two races left in the season and still he managed to win the title.
The Englishman is going through some serious mental stress these days as he has been unfortunate in completing his three races and his frustration has dragged him out of his best racing form as well. Hamilton finished the Japanese Grand Prix on the fifth
spot.
On the other hand, the Spaniard superstar Fernando Alonso is performing brilliantly. Currently Alonso and the veteran German racer from the team Red Bull Sebastian Vettel are tied on two hundred and six point’s just fourteen points adrift of the leader Mark
Webber.
Hamilton is still keen and confident of closing the point’s gap. The Englishmen expressed his sheer determination and told the media that he is very well aware of the fact that the current condition is very difficult for him. He said that he can cause a
huge difference in the points table by performing outstandingly and winning at least two races out of the remaining three.
Hamilton is now looking forward to clutch the victory in the upcoming Korean Grand Prix, which will be held in 24th of October. It is to be notified that the Formula 1 race is being held in Korea for the first time and winning the inaugural race over the
circuit will be not less than an honour for the Englishman. The Englishman said that his plans are very simple and he will enter the Korean circuit to win the race as he is left with no other option now. He continued and said that he believes he can do it
and he wants to win for his McLaren team and for himself as well.
Hamilton is followed by his teammate Jenson Button, who is just 3 points behind him. Hamilton said that at the moment he needs to keep his nerve, and motivation is the key to clinch the unimaginable.
Hamilton's teammate Button expressed himself and said that if a driver is leading the points table he cannot do anything risky, but if he is behind the leader than he does whatever he likes to overtake the rivals. He said that he has got nothing to lose
now and he will try his level best to give his rivals a tough challenge. He said that this year's condition is very different as compared to last year's Formula 1 season. Button continued and said that lucky plays a vital role and unfortunately the current
season is not very lucky for the McLaren team. When Button was asked about the favourites for the upcoming race the 31-year-old British said that only the time will tell as upsets are a part of Formula 1 racing.
