Lewis Hamilton of McLaren is not sure about his next step in the following 2013 season. He is not sure which team will he be joining in the next season.
There are rumours that Hamilton will move to Mercedes replacing Michael Schumacher, however the British driver denied all the rumours saying that he does not know about his team for the next season. He has not yet denied the rumours as well and remains silent
over the issue.
Additionally, he told that he is focusing over to the upcoming Italian Grand Prix and hopes that it will be a great weekend for them, as they won the last two grands prix they started.
He said, “I don't think I'm really looking to put anything in to perspective. I drive for McLaren, we've won the last two races, we've got another great weekend hopefully ahead of us and that's what I need to focus on.”
Later, the British rider told that his management is taking care of the matter and they have not signed any contract, until now. He added that his management is discussing his deal related to next contract with McLaren.
“Nothing's been signed, my management are in discussions with McLaren and nothing's really changed,” he added.
Talking about the Italian Grand Prix Hamilton said that he is not sure about the Monza circuit as it is a different place for them. As he has not been able to win any race at the circuit, he is trying to remain focused over the following weekend. He anticipates
continuing producing impressive results for his team, McLaren.
The McLaren driver said, “I'm trying to just remain focused, regardless of all of the stuff that's surrounding, and just trying to focus on getting some more good results for the team.”
Hamilton was unable to finish the Belgian GP due to an accident at the turn 1 of Spa Francorchamps, however his teammate Jenson Button won the race, convincingly. The second last race, Hungary Grand Prix was won by the British driver. The victories by its
drivers made McLaren attain 218 championship points and at the runner up position in the Constructors’ Championship.
