Who thinks he is doing well so far!? I think he can definately do much better and I , for one, would like him to really go all guns( or engines!) blazing in the Turkish race! Who Agrees?, I was laughing my head off when Alonso bumed out of the Barcolona race!! And all the stupid Spanish fans started leaving! What ever happened to watching the WHOLE race, regardless of whether Alonso was out of the race or not, there's still a race to watch Stupid Spaniards!! They obviously take losing very badly!

  1. Hm, Cristos has the nail on head, but i guess i'm in an answering mood

To see real fan movement, try the Italian GP. If the Ferrari's are out then there is mass exodus. Why stay at a GP if your driver/team have retired? Its only a loser that takes losing well.

Lewis needs a win to avoid falling into the 'awkward question' trap. Not only that, it has to be a dominant win to boot.

  2. I agree, Spaniards are terrible sports fans. When I was watching qualifying I knew that Kimi was going to get pole, but I didn't know I'd be cheering so loudly when he did..anything's better than having Alonso at the front of the grid.

As far as Hamilton goes, he definately does need to win on Sunday but it will be tough. I expect the Ferrari's to qualify right at the front so as long as Lewis is no further down than 3rd he should be able to push them in the race because the McLaren's race pace is much better than its qualifying pace.

  3. Yeah. Hamilton is great. Alonso is a right pig. I was laughing aswell when alonso came off at barca. The look on the fan's faces!! lol.

I agree, Hamilton does need to score some points fast if he's to keep up with raikonen.

  4. Lewis will do what he can, 2nd- 6th or retire, ferrari too strong at the moment.

To Gromit, Mansell won the 1986 British GP!!!!!!!!!

  5. There are few drivers that need to win in Turkey to keep their chances for winning the championship high. As for your comments... did it ever occur to you that they didn't come to actually see the race as such, they came for Alonso. Spanish fans are very passionate supoprters, so quite frankly, you can stick your comments else where.

  6. I was originally interested in answering your question but your comments are unacceptable as far as I'm concerned.

  7. He definitely needs one, but I think that one of the Ferrari drivers will win again. I'm leaning slightly toward Kimi because he was so fast in p2 and was very unhappy with the car, but you can never count Massa out in Turkey. He loves the track and has won each of the last 2 Turkish GP's.

  8. My, such a hypocrite!

I was at the British GP in 1985, and it about emptied when Nigel Mansell dropped out.

Personally, I hope Lewie The Brat gets taken out in the first corner.

Julian:  That was a typo on my part.  Corrected.

  9. Hamilton is trailing in the championship and does need a win Soon but the McLaren has reliabilty problems this season. Maybe by Turkey they will be sorted - hope so!

  10. I don't care about your comments, but the answer to your question: yes he does need to win, but will he? Most likely not! I bet Kimi will take the victory!

  11. yes indeed, christos...

  12. Wow! major reaction from the Spanish fans. At least we know that they showed just exclusively for Fernando Alonso only.

If he wants to catch up in the standings, of course he needs to win. Hamilton has not been doing too badly but he's had one or two less satisfactory races this year. Considering that he's 9 points adrift, it's not so bad actually
