McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton feels satisfied with the third place finish at 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix held at Sepang International Circuit on Sunday, after he secured his second consecutive pole position of the season.
Moreover, the British driver felt disappointment with his third podium finish in the season opener at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia last week after qualifying for the pole.

“I feel very fortunate, with the weather conditions and the way the track was today that I managed to finish in third today,” said Hamilton. “It's good points and good points for the team and yeah I just have to look forward to the next one. I wouldn't say
I was happy with third; I can never be happy with going backwards, but it's really just due to the conditions. Of course we would have liked to have more points this weekend but yeah, I guess I can't really complain.”
Furthermore, he said that he tried his best to catch up the pace of Fernando Alonso of Ferrari and Sergio Perez of Sauber who had shown a remarkable performance at the second race however, could be able to overtake them as they both were too fast.
