Lewis Hamilton still aims high despite the Monza disappointment
The Briton ace Formula 1 racer, Lewis Hamilton is still aiming high for the upcoming races despite having collided with Ferrari’s Filipe Massa’s car during Italian Grand Prix, consequently losing his lead there.
While talking to the reporters, he commented on the incident saying that this mistake on the racing track was a lesson for him from which he has learned a lot. He said that bad experiences often make a person learn and he will try to avoid such a situation
from arising again. The 25-year-old maintained that a good sportsman is the one who absorbs all the tension and also tries to learn from bad times.
The Mercedes McLaren driver is currently on the second spot in the world championship rankings, just 5 points behind Mark Webber, the Red Bull racer. All the racers seem to be close in terms of points and each one of them is trying his best to capture the
lead. The Italian GP winner Fernando Alonso of Ferrari, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull while Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton of McLaren are all racing superbly at present and one amongst them might win the world champion title this season.
Hamilton is busy these days regaining his lost confidence after Monza. Although, he expressed disappointed over his performance there but he still seems hopeful for a good play at Singapore on 26th September 2010. He added that he is well focused
on the next race and will try to improve there. Lewis argued that Team McLaren isn’t yet out of the championship and they have all the chances to win in a remarkable way. He said that his primarily focus at present is to finish the upcoming five races brilliantly
while his most immediate target is to win the Singapore GP which would surely improve his ranking.
Team McLaren is no doubt one of the best teams in the Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton’s team mate, Jenson Button also seems eager to put his team on the top of the list. Button had earlier finished second in the Italian GP. Later, he had termed the race a good
one for him saying that although, he had wanted to win it but unfortunately missed the chance.
