Die Knappen are currently fourth on the Bundesliga standings table with four points from the two games played. The team opened the season with a 2-2 draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hannover-96-c39492 and followed up with an impressive 3-1 win over FC Augsburg
at home.
Holtby claimed that his side has started the season well and is keen to win tie against Furth this coming weekend. The player stated that his side could have won the away clash to Hannover as they had the majority of chances throughout
the course of 90 minutes.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 Under-21 international admitted that Schalke did not play at their best when they took on Augsburg last week as a lot of mistakes were made. He stressed that the side needs a good performance against Greuther Furth
to gain back the confidence and added that the players are prepared for the battle.
“Against a strong Hanover side that had beaten Wolfsburg 4-0 we ought to have taken all three points. Then, although we didn’t play brilliantly against Augsburg, we put in a workmanlike performance and did what had to be done.
Now we need to come out on top in Fürth. Everybody is determined to get the win,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Holtby insisted that it will not be an easy task to get all the three points as the opposition is coming from a well deserved away win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 last week. He stated that the team cannot afford to underestimate the opponents
as they are well capable of getting something from the game.
“After their win away at Mainz, they’re clearly going to be on a high. Mike Büskens will have his played well geared up to face us. Knowing him as I do, he’ll give a stirring, motivational speech in the dressing room,” he concluded.
