Lex was a great wrestler and yeah there are rumors going around he had alot to do with Mrs. Elizabeths death but she chose to do the drugs and over dosed on them and If Lex has turned his life around than that is more awesome than anything he has done in the ring

The majority of people that hate Luger dislike him because of the perceived belief that he played a role in Elizabeth's death.

Personally, I don't really know what happened behind closed doors, so I won't judge him for it. If he did play a part in her death, then he'll be punished eventually.

I don't hate Luger..but I need to correct some of the things you wrote in your Q..with no disrespect obviously.

Luger bodyslammed Yokozuna in 1993..not the 80's. He was not working for Vince in the 80's. In the mid to late 80's he was working for Jim Crockett as part of the NWA/WCW.

He was a part of The Horsemen yes, but Ric Flair was not too fond of him. Flair thought Luger was very arrogant..and didn't like him. Luger's best friend in that company was Sting.

He was not in the WWF from the start of the Wrestlemanias..he didn't get to WWF until 1992 or 1993. The first Wrestlemania was in 1985.

The thing about Luger was the wrestlers backstage whereever he went thought he was plain old arrogant. He thought he was better than everyone, no kayfabe. He actually at times acted like he was too good for wrestling, since he had a football background. These are the things that people have said about him, wrestlers and promoters.

Me personally, liked Lex Luger back in the NWA days, he was awesome..even in the early 90's when he was WCW champion, he performed great as a heel.

But yeah, it was the people behind the scenes that aren't too fond of Luger..and people lost even more respect for him after Miss Elizabeth's death.

I like Luger he has really turned his life around he is a born again Christian and writes a column in the magazine Christian Living he is a true inspiration. We all go through problems.

He did not bodyslam Yokozuna, that was a freakin' hiptoss. Ahmed Johnson was technically the first and only guy to bodyslam Yokozuna.

Maybe people hate him because he was abusive to women, and was a ddamn coke addict.
