  1. I had a horrible experience with lexapro causing me to have suicidal thoughts. It deepened my depression so much. I was diagnosed as being bipolar later on though so that is the reason all the antidepressants I tried had such a negative effect on me. Lexapro does not work for everyone but it is worth a try. I would go to a psychiatrist and see what they think you should do. If they prescribe you anything, try it out but make sure to tell your parents what's going on and research what it is you as much as you can. If you are having suicidal thoughts you need to speak with your doctor immediately.

  2. i would stay on the klonopin and work with my psychiatrist.. i take klonopin and it really helps me....... if you feel you shouldnt take the lexapro, then dont..... you know your body better than anyone else.... dont talk to your parents about it, talk to your doctor.... and i wish you the best of luck... you will be okay..

  3. Your lucky that you get klonipin, its about the best drug out there to calm your nerves and anxiety, although it is addictive so you need to be responsible with it.  As for the lexipro, I have never had an antidepressant have any good or bad affects on me at all. My position is biased but I say don't even bother with it.  You obviously need help by the way you expressed your anguish.  Some of us never completely get over our chemical imbalance or whatever is causing these problems (could be traumatic experiences).  But I am a living example that you can improve mentally about 90% better than before. I understand you had to be drastic in your explanation to get your point across.  But you sound like your own thoughts are self destructive and just make things worse for you.  Thats the whole key in the first place, your thoughts.  That's where both the problem and the solution lye.  You need to think positive all the time seriously, no matter the situation think positive just for the h**l of it. OCD probably causes a lot of disturbing thoughts.  That's a tough one to get control of.  The only thing you can do is learn to let go.  I suggest you take up yoga, it helps calm your brain and gets you in touch with yourself without all of the fears.
