Lexi Thompson hires new bagman - Greg Johnston

Lexi Thompson, who won the title of the youngest player on the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) and LET (Ladies European Tour), has reportedly hired a new bagman.
According to the details, Thompson has made up her mind about working with Greg Johnston.
The young star will take the veteran bagman on board when she participates in the US season, slated to begin next week.
The rookie is confident that her partnership with Johnston will prove beneficial for her game, as she has been seeking to focus on bigger events coming ahead.
Golf Channel, which broke the news to golf fans, told that Thompson had been trying to get a new bagman for months, particularly after becoming the youngest winner on the LPGA and LET.
Johnston boasts a remarkable caddie profile. He is best known for caddying for Suzann Pettersen and Juli Inkster.
Now that his services have been hired, it has become crucial for the veteran to take the game more seriously, observers believe.
Johnston’s partnership with Inkster had been spectacular, as he carried her bag in four major championships.  The caddie worked hard, helping Inkster to fix the flaw in her game.
Johnston has also worked as the bagman for Michelle Wie, but their partnership abruptly came to an end. The reason for Wie to let go off her caddy was blown out of proportion.
It was said that Wie was unhappy with him after she finished tied for the 26th spot in the Weetabix Women’s British Open, Royal Lytham.
"Greg Johnston's hard work and dedication made him a great partner for Michelle, as he would be for any other golfer," Wie’s spokesperson had said following the unexpected move.
Golf experts have been pointing out some loopholes in Thompson’s game. However, they say that the new caddy deal is going to streamline her schedule and game.
Thompson herself was determined to have a caddy change, which she often shared with the media.
According to the reports, the teen prodigy had informed her fans that the 2012 season would see some major changes in her golf.
"We do really get along but I’ll maybe just be looking for somebody else," She said.
