Lexmark X1240 help installing?

Question

i plugged in the printer and it says its found new hardware. i try to install it but i dont have a disk and so it wont let me. then i go to the list of Lexmark printers in the new hardware thing and it doesnt have this printer. how do i get it to work on my computer?

try this (step by step ) : go out cable for your printer . go to http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downlo... , select your operating system - click download . run this driver . connect cable for your printer , now your pc recognize printer and ready to use . ctrl+P - print test page . good luck !
