Hello, I have purchased a new Lexmark Z25 printer some time ago. I've had no probelms with the printer's functioning under Windows XP Pro, however I'm experiencing the following problem with its driver: The driver is installing a service called "LexBce Server" (LEXBCES.EXE), which makes the spooler service dependent on it. This service seems to be causing very slow system shut down - the computer hangs for about 15 seconds at the "Shutting down windows" stage. This problem does not occur if I stop the LexBce Server service manually beforehand, so obviously it is failing to close properly on shutdown. This is occuring with the latest drivers downloaded from Lexmar's site. I have written to Lexmark technical support twice already, but have received no response, so any suggestions for working around this are appreciated. Thanks, Dimitrito install on vista laptop
