Lexmark printer power problem

lexmark x1100I'm trying to get my lexmark all in one printer up and running but the power itself isn't coming on. The only power connection there is in the back of the printer is a USB which I connected to my PC but no power. I would have thought there would be a socket power from the mains but there isn't any port in the back of the printer for that. I would be grateful if you could advise on how I should fix this problem..is it the connection as I got the printer a while ago and wasn't aware that printers had moved onto USB yet or would it be something else.Many thanks.Ahmed Awan
