  1. Expensive.

  2. I don't own one, but I can tell you from about one week of total "ownership" from using them as loaners from Lexus during service calls.

    1. Design is subjective and really a matter of personal taste, so I can't tell you "oh it's gorgeous" or "oh, it's so bland" because you probably like it, or else you would not be considering it.  My two cents, it's a very nice looking car, exterior.  It shows some "Camry" resemblance, but overall it conveys more luxury.  I would have liked the interior wood trim to have gone across the passengers side dash also, to flow a little better, like the previous ES330.

    2. Power, I thought was sufficient, once the transmission kicked in and downshifted properly. Thus, the problem with the ES350, it's slugish to accelerate, but once it does, it's a pretty hungry engine.  Smooth, and deceptively aggressive is how I would describe it.  Don't expect BMW'ish performance, but it is a much smoother ride.

    3. Noise isolation was very good, from road noise to engine.  It's not LS grade, but much better than comparable Camry for sure.  I would say this is probably on par with first generation LS.  Very quiet on highway and wind noise was present, but manageable.  If you drive with the radio on, you won't notice anything.

    4. As far as known issues, or reliability, I would say it's on par if not better than previous models.  There was the transmission issue of "jumping" gears, which I'm sure should be isolated by now (third year already).

I think for an entry level luxury vehicle, the ES350 does okay for the moeny.  Are there better deals out there?  Probably are... but if you like the ES350, it's a good buy and nice choice.

  3. The Lexus ES350 Is Actually A Rebadged Toyota Camry.
