Leyton Orient vs. Arsenal – FA Cup report
Arsenal took on Leyton Orient, after having beaten http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605 in a Champions League clash just a few days ago.
The Gunners had to prove on the night, just to ensure that they were real title contenders on all four fronts and not just a team, who were relying on luck.
Nonetheless, Arsene Wenger opted to field a much weaker team for the game, in hopes of giving his senior and more regular players a much needed break.
The match kicked off with Orient taking the game to Arsenal in the early few minutes of the game. The home side were stringing together a couple of chances and on two occasions, it seemed like they would actually open the scoring on the night.
As the match progressed, Arsenal slowly started to creep back into the game and started to dominate possession and create a handful of chances for themselves.
However, despite the best efforts of both teams, neither side could find the back of the net in the first half of the game.
In the second half, things seemed to be playing out in almost the same manner as the first.
But, all of that changed in the 53rd minute, as Tomas Rosicky gave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-Maseru-c38430 the lead. The midfielder managed to get on the right end of a Nicklas Bendtner’s cross and tipped his effort into the back of the net.
It seemed at that point, that Arsenal would not stroll through to victory. However, Orient were in the game to get something out of it and were managing to hold on to Arsenal for most parts of the game.

As a result of that late goal, the match is now going to be re-played at the Emirates.
