Lg Dare slow motion settings?

I recently got the LG dare and i know how to put it on slow motion but does everyone get a really dark screen when they put it on slow motion? Its really annoying sometimes because you cant always see everything. I was wondering if i'm the only one who has this problem and if not what are the settings you guys use?

I did a test with my phone with different settings and asked around at http://www.lg-dare.com and found that if you use the brightness bar on the left hand side, you can raise the brightness levels up before you record to get a brighter video.  Hope this helps.
