Lg Tv Resoulution help?

well we have just got a new lg 42" tv and it doesnt show right, could anyone give any colour settings for like contrast, brightness etc that looks really good e.g. contrast - 62%

if you get what i mean!

please help

Each model has it's own unique optimal settings for your room, and usage type.  You can find basic information at avsforums.com.  However if you want to get the best possible performance out of your television I would highly recommend having it calibrated.  This is a special service aimed at improving the experience you get out of the television.  The professional calibrator has the ability to adjust things you can not reach on the menu such as gray scale, this will ultimately have your television running more efficiently saving you money and increasing the picture quality.
