Lg fusic cell phone & my bluetooth headset

Question

all of a sudden my sprint lg fusic phone has decided to not recognize my bluetooth headset. When I try to add it back it says it is unable to detect any bluetooth devices. Help! I have become a bluetooth headset junkie in the last year. Is there an internal battery in the headset that could be junk?Thanks for any help you can give me.
