Lg kf600 photo's transfered to pc are squashed!?

I had problems getting the lg to transfer photo's to my pc. I passed the problem to the lg team via email and they explained about using the mass storage mode which worked fine the first time but ever since my photo's appear on my pc as very narrow horizontal lines.I don't seem to be able to get a response this time from lg, perhaps they don't know either! Don't know if it helps but the pic's on the phone used to be 'tagged' with the date. Now there is just a long number which doesn't mean anything to me. Please can anyone help?

maby they are in a different file format than they used to be? if so, try veiwing the images in a different picture veiwer (just try microsoft word or something).

if they are the same file format, and the problem is still persistent, try to reset the camera to factory defaults. i am not sure how to do this on your camera, but it should either be in a manual, or on the internet. if this doesnt solve it, then it is a hardware problem and you need a new camera!!!
