Lg rumour ??? help please!!!?

Question

soo i got a lg rumour and i lovee it , but the thing is people said if i buy the memory card i could but music on it aand set it as my ring tonee , but i cant , so then people said to cut it down to like 30 seconds , so i did and it still wont let me , or im not doing it right

what do i do ?

cause i cant go on the internet and get onee for free , bell wont let me on any of them sites , ahahaha

They were wrong. Sprint made it so that no matter what phone you get, there are only two ways to get ring tones: by recording them, and by buying them. That is one of the reasons Verizon is more popular than Sprint; even though Sprint has better services, teens like save sounds that their friends send them, put it on their SD card, and make it their ring tone. You can put music on it, but after that you can only listen to the music. Sorry, but maybe you should consider switching to Verizon and getting the LG EnV 2, which is a pretty cool phone. It has a full keyboard like the LG Rumor, but it flips open. But that is up to you. I am sorry, but if you keep Sprint (even if you get a different phone) you can't get a ring tone from your SD card. Just record it. It won't sound as good, but its better than paying for it.

Move the tone that's cut down to 30 secs to the phone memory and it should appear in the list where the other pre-installed ringtones are and then set them as ringtones OR convert the tone to .mid format and then try getting them onto the phone,.

i have a  samsung bast mmyou can try limewire i do and i download them from limewire saved at documents the send it to ur adapter from ur memory card    then that that   i have my music as my ringtones
