Hi, i'd like to answer this question, since i have an LG viewty KU990 cameraphone.

let me give you the cons/ downside first.

1) bulky. ( compared to slimmer , newer phones today)

2) NO lens cover.

3) Compared to iPhone, the browser doesnt have the "pinch" extraction for you to zoom in on a certain picture.

4) When using the 120 frames per second feature, the lighting seems to be reduced to -60. Which means, the final output will be darker. hence, you have to use it on day time, or increase the brightness level before shooting the vid.

5) Stylus that came with it / comes with it feels like a tiny screwdriver.

BUT...THE ADVANTAGES OUTWEIGH THE CONS:

and here they are:

1) the slimmest 5 mega pixel camera phone out there.

2) ISO is up to 800, which means you can take this viewty to low light and still get good results with your pictures.

3) 3G baby! iPhone doesnt even have a camera on the front side. WHen using the 3g cam, you also have a view of you and the one youre calling. Now thats pretty cool!

4) DIVX format on video baby! no one, no phone can do that!

which means, that this phone can play crisp dvd quality videos!

5) can play almost all video formats: mp4, divx, mpeg, avi, mov., 3gp,

6) the Cd installer that comes with it has a DIVX installer and converter on it.so...WHOA!! if you have a dvd or avi file you wanna play on your phone, EASY! just drag the file into that coverter and..you will have a compressed, high quality video..!

7) the keypad/keyguard lock is also an image stabilizer key..so, when shooting pics, just click the button and ZOOM! you have a more , clearer and crisper photo! no cam can do that. ONLY PROFESSIONAL CAMERAPHONES..hence, its tagline!

8) the charger / usb adaptor that plugs to the phone is sturdy and rugged,, which  makes it really robust!

9) MP3s can be used as ringtones!

10) expandable memory of 2 to 4 gig...yeah...if you have that micro sd, then..your limit is 4 gig!

11) What i love about this phone is the hapticks! when you type message or press a task, the phone vibrates..which makes this cool phone really COOL to TEXT!

12) real flash for the cam..and not just a light.

13) MULTI TASK phone.. so,, you can listen to you mp3s, while texting, or browsing...aint that cool?

14) the only cameraphone that can take 120 frames per second. no one does that!

so...you decide. for me, it was worth it. it still is.
