My contract is up and I'm getting a new phone. I've heard the voyager is good, but EVERYONE has it. The glyde is also nice, but I've heard some bad things about it too. And the dare is supposed to be amazing, and I love the design, but I'm concerned whether the texting on it is hard, and i text a lot. So which phone??!?

  1. I would get the voyager. Its really nice and its a touch screen and has a keyboard. The glyde is nice to but I dont like slider phones. The dare is nice but can imagine texting is extremly hard. so get the voyager. It has everything all these phones have combined. and texting would be a million times easier than the dare! Do u like the env2? cuz I have it and its amazing! I love it! So get the voyager!!!!!

  2. I would recomend going to a verizon wireless store and spend some time with both phones before making your choice. I have a dare and love it, but its your choice. Here are some pros and cons that might help you out found here http://www.lg-dare.com/index.php/topic,1...

  3. ok...i will not tell you what to get, but i think i can help you decide

    Important points:

    VOYAGER:

    1) the lg voyager has both qwerty keyboard and touchscreen so if you get sick of one, you use the other.

    2) you may be leaning towards the dare since it has a touchscreen keyboard...but i'll tell you...SO DOES THE VOYAGER!  if you're writing a txt message on the front, you have the option to use a touchscreen t9 pad in portrait mode or a touchscreen qwerty keyboard in landscape mode.

    3) there's a reason everyone has it.  It's because it has many features like vcast music, mobile tv, full html we browser, or if you don't want to use any of those it is a texting MACHINE with lots of battery.

    DARE:

    1) has a nice camer, 3.2 mp, but you don't buy a phone to take a ton of pictures, and you pay about 100 dollars more than the voyager just for an extra 1.2 mp.

    2) has an auto switch like the iphone,(if you hold it sideways the screen switches) but that is only in texting. even if you are using the mobile web, you can only use it in landscape mode.

    3) you can customize your main menu to have it rearranged in any order, but you still have the same buttons, no matter where they are

    GLYDE:

    1) ok...i have had this phone before (actually i have had all 3) and this is my least favorite of all...and i have had the juke ( which really sucks, but not as much as the glyde).  after not even 2 weeks of having this phone, the spring and barrier broke.  So the top part flew off the bottom when i tried to open it.  barely used the keyboard and whenever i did open it, i was really careful, trying to avoid just that.

2)the touchscreen SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.  I dropped it once and the touchscreen worked terrible ( you needed to touch something like 7 times just to select it) and i dropped it off a couch onto CARPET!!  SO STUPID!!!  and even when i first bought it the touchscreen was unresponsive, and my friends have the same problem with their glydes.

    3) touchscreen buttons are too small.  when you try to press a button on the front ( like at the bottom especially) you press like 3 even if you just use your little finger.  this can over work the hard drive and fry your phone.

so as you may have noticed i wrote nothing good about the glyde, but i could tell you so many more bad things ( give me your e-mail if you want some more info about any of the three phones)

the lg dare is ok, but you are just paying 100 dollars extra for a camera, and the voyager is everything the dare is, but with a qwerty keyboard and a second screen.

the voyager rocks...all the way,,,,best features,,,best touchscreen,,,best keyboard,,,best call quality,,,,,best signal,,,,,best sound,,,best screens,,,,,,i actually liked the voyager's camera better cuz of the BETTER auto focus,,,and is the perfect phone.

BTW BTW BTW....they are coming out with a voyager refresh, which is supposed to be  just like the voyager but better battery, titanium color, you can organize your menu like the dare, and

it's supposedly the best touchscreen anything out there.

It's your choice, but i would never again go with the glyde, i would maybe go with the lg dare, but the sound quality sucks on it for when you're making calls, and the voyager just plain perfects everything (except maybe size, but i personally like big phones, you can find them easier and you know when you do and do not have it in your pocket.  Besides, its not really that big)

    Hope i helped!!!
