Lg vu or iphone 3g?!?!?

im gona get a new phone this monh and i wanna know if i should get the iphone or the lg vu.

i actually looking at these 2 as candidates for my phone upgrade as well. they each have their pros and cons, and i think it really depends on you and what you are trying to get out of the phone. the iphone because of its vast HD( 8gigs or 16gigs), will be able to hold lots of music that you already have, and has nice apps, and GUI.

the vu, has TV, which looks awesome, and is nice and light weight. the GUI is nice too.

both support 3g, and full HTML browsing

neither has flash support in their browser..

the iphone does not have video capabilities.

the cheapest iphone plan is 69.99 for 450 minutes, unlimites text and data, and will cost you 199.99 with a new contract

the vu is 39.99(450 min nation wide) + 35.00 (74.99 total/month) a month for unlimited data and text, and will cost you 99.99 with a new contract and rebates.

I have heard a lot of problems with the iphone 3g, specifically with its connection, and its dropping of it.

the main thing for me and has he looking at the iphone, is its support for pandora and its youtube support/ GPS / google earth, which is awesome, and the main thing that has me looking at the Vu is the TV.

tough choice indeed...

after writing this "out loud", i think that aside from the initial cost of the iphone, it does have more features than the VU, and will cost $5 less a month for the plan, and 16GB is pretty nice. I need to goto the apple store and see how it feels in my hand before i take the plunge. scale is tipping towards iphone3g

on a side note, new phones will try to complete with the iphone 3g, and fill in the feature gaps (video, flash support, TV,  etc.) Might want to wait? ( its hard i know, i want a new  phone badly this month too.)

Well I'm having the same problem you are but if you like to send picture messages i would say the vu cause from my understanding you cant send or recieve mms on the iphone you can only recieve them through e-mail

well the iphone 3g is definitely fast and has a great touchscreen but if you look into some iphone conversation you will see that people aren't really enjoying because of some of the limitations. to learn about some of the dislikes of the iphone go to youtube and type in the first 24 hours with the iphone 3g. the lg vu has TV which is nice, just go to youtube and this time type on the lg vu and see what you find, or if you want a comparison between the two go type in new iphone vs lg vu on youtube.com
