In the opening day of Li Ning China Open 2012, the in-form local shuttler Deng Xuan showed a wonderful performance and remained successful in beating Netherlands’ Jie Yao at Shanghai, China, on Wednesday, November 14.
The impressive Xuan, who has been impressive in the last few tournaments, played with a complete control and remained successful in winning this match while consuming 30 minutes in the arena.

After the one-minute break, Xuan showed aggression on court as she played with tremendous precision and managed to stay slightly ahead of her rival.
In the ending points of opening half, Xuan played smart game as she did not lose her focus in the arena and managed to win the opening set with a 21-19 margin on the board.
In the second set, the lofty Xuan showed a wonderful performance as she did not let her rival to put up strong resistance this time and set up a huge lead until the end of opening half.
After the break, Dutch shuttler failed to show up strong character on court as she could not create trouble for Xuan who easily finished off the second game with a dominating 21-12 score on the board.
The in-form Xuan emerged as the winner in this Women’s Singles opening round contest in a dominating manner as she took just 30 minutes to stamp her mark over Jie with a superb margin of 21-19 and 21-12.
