A friend of mine has been using my address as a care of address for the CSA. Now they have sent a liability order to my address and i am now worried that it will effect my credit. The surname is different to mine, will this make a difference. If it does effect my credit rating how can i remove it. and how do i prove that this person does not live here when i do not have a permenant address for this person. Any advice will be appreciated.

  1. The way credit scoring is calculated has changed and no longer takes into account other living at the same address.

If you are concerned speak to Experien or equifax (google) and they will be able to provide ytou with a credit report if there are any errors you can then have those ammended if they are incorrect.
