My daughter was involved in a accident..well it wasn't really an accident I don't think. She was waiting in the car for my father and she had the keys, and then turned the car on and put it in reverse, being 13 she panicked, sideswiping another car, that car had very minimal damage. My father's car however had the bumper knocked off and the passenger doors crushed in. The question is this...Will my father's insurance pay for the damages and will his premium go up?

  1. It will depends on the insurance company because they could say that this was negligence of your fathers part for leaving the keys in the vehicle and as for the insurance rates going up, well the will depend as well on the insurance company ........................

  2. being that she is a minor his insurance will most likely pay for it.  as far as his premium going up, it is likely but i am not really sure.  that is company specific.
