That was on a bumper sticker that caught my attention and I was curious what other people would think about it; or rather more of what their first comment would be. Agree? Disagree? Ridiculous? Correct?

  1. Childishly insulting.  It's a valid (and correct) political position held by millions of tax paying patriotic Americans, many of us with military service, many of us engaged in making this great country even greater.

  2. Unfortunately most people who think this way were simply raised around stringent traditions.  They were taught that anyone of a different opinion, race, color, s*x, nationality or religion should be called 'weird'.  Since our natural instinct is to think similarly, these ideas can be very difficult to break once older.

It is difficult to stand up for the less privileged and those who are stomped on by society.  Indeed it is even easier to stomp on them yourself as their exploitation often makes a great step-stool to success.  Therefore the 'liberals' who speak out for the weak and needy and who stand up for the impoverished, marginalized members of society are often scoffed at by those who were raised to believe that those without a voice are to be ignored.  Even more they anger those who exploit the weak in order to gain from their need.  The liberal would rather see the exploited freed over exploiting him/her themselves.

In the line of politics, there is the right (conservative) and left (liberal).  The right believes more strongly in traditions.  That the way they do things is the right way.  From this, it is no surprise that the extreme right is Nazism.  Under Nazism, only those who looked and exactly exactly as the tradition saw fit, would be allowed to live, lest they pollute the gene pool with their inferiority.  Indeed, in such a society, even the mentally ill were considered fit only for the gas chamber, their roommates believed to be no more capable of rational thoughts than they.

So you see, when someone says the believe liberalism is a 'mental illness' it is because they are n***s.

    *bow*

  3. haha... its a slight exaggeration but a pretty amusing one.

  4. $20.00 says the person who owns the car can't even produce a viable definition of 'liberalism'.

  5. Go live in the UK for 6 months.   An ultra socialist nation.  Knife crime is sky high yet the government wants to have all home owners register their knives, including kitchen knives.  they did this with guns yet gun crime is also rising. they have thousands of cameras on the streets yet the crime rate is rising due to mass un-enforced immigration.  the majority of the british labour party are ex or current members of the communist party, socialist workers party and other marxist organisations.  Ken livingstone the ex mayor of london is now political advisor to chavez in Venezuela.. go figure.

  6. Liberal: Liberty, liberation, liberalism.

All good things. Anyone who thinks otherwise is mentally ill.

America: the only developed country in the world where liberal is a dirty word.

  7. That is a Michael Savage quote and yeah I generally agree with Michael.

  8. Yes it is and I think these drug companies should be forced to come up with a pill to cure it.

  9. So is "dementia" and "religious fundamentalism"

  10. Da Comrade! Uncle Joe would be proud!

"The practice of 'punitive psychiatry', perfected by Nikita Khrushchev in the aftermath of Stalin's Great Terror as a more palatable way of dealing with political dissidents, was once thought to have been buried with the Soviet Union...."

  11. as a former republican i like to think of myself as a recovering con

  12. No, Fascist Neocon. You got everything upside down again. Neoconservatism is a mental illness. John McCain is a prime example of this.

  13. I know all about the Loons...the ones that critisize me every chance they get!

and YES!, they are driving ME crazy! They inflict themselves on unsuspecting Conservatives and spread their "mental illness" across the country!

That why there is a No Spin Zone....The Factor!...a place to escape the Loonatics on the Left.

  14. After the last eight years anyone who would think conservatism is "normal" would have to be mentally ill. The 90s were far from a mental illness, and Clintons administration beat Bushs administration hands down. Bush was a headfirst dive into neoconservative at its' extreme, anyone who still follows the hardcore right-wing agenda has a lot of problems upstairs.

Also, if we look abroad which do you think is more mentally ill: left-wing Western Europe or right-wing middle east?

  15. To an extreme, Conservatism and Liberalism are both "Mental Illnesses".  They did a good job excluding their own demented way of thinking from that.

  16. politics in itself is a mental illness, just a bunch of head butting to see who gets the upper hand on one another. why not jump into a wrestling ring & settle the score!

  17. That's a pretty ignorant statement.

Thinking in a non-conservative way does not constitute a mental illness.

  18. hahaha i want that sticker.....but your car would probably get more damage than a keying in my neighborhood

  19. Liberals are Mental....Giants. You must use your brain and not your wallet to think and help this country out of the h**l it is in now. Illness? Only when said by a Con. It's the only thing they got, 'cause they can't "Think" for themselves...They hire W's to save them. So I guess I agree, disagree and think it's ridiculous!!

  20. In the age of political correctness, the proper term is: mental disorder. And yes, I agree.

  21. No right wing fascism is.

  22. Agree.

  23. Sounds like grounds to legally rear-end someone, drag them out of their car, and beat them to a bloody pulp with a tire iron, preferably on church property.

  24. Disagree.  Actually, a mental health study was done, and conservatives or republicans faired much more poorly than liberals or democrats.  If I can find the research on it, I'll edit.

Next, I would question the mental heath of anyone who has such a focus on insulting other Americans, as to have that bumper sticker.  People who don't really think well of themselves, focus on hating others groups to feel better about themselves, and to blame their problems on.  Rush Limbaugh capitalizes on this.

Political views run along a continuum, if you have to classify them.  Making blanket statements about liberals or conservatives is just too black and white.

  25. Correct right on the money Hit the nail on the head they sure are

  26. That is an offshoot of Michael Savage, the ultra right wing shock jocks book about liberalism.  He called it a mental disorder.

I read a few pages of his book and it made me vomit.  The guy is clearly nuts (or laughing all the way to the bank because he knows by being a partisan nutcase he'll make a damned fine living)

I am proud to be a liberal.

Michael Savage should be ashamed of being a savage, a w***e, if you will, for bucks and glory.

    =

  27. amusing

  28. Well there has to be something wrong with them when they keep pushing programs that have failed again and again.

  29. My first thought is that it's funny.
