Liberals, are all Klansmen bad people? Are you really going to let the actions of a few Klansmen color...?

...your perception of all Klansmen? Even if not every Klansman has participated in crossburnings or lynchings? Is that right ? If it's a matter of percentages of the Klan who've participated then what exactly is that percentage, ballpark ? Is it .1% ? 1%? 10 %? 50 %? Is it a matter of the underlying beliefs supposedly held by Klansmen? If it is the underlying beliefs, what about the Klansmen who aren't racist ? I just wish you'd define your terms so I know how to be open minded like you. For those of you who can see what I'm getting at, bravo- I admit it's kind of vague but I'm trying to get past their kneejerk reflex. And for the record, I am a liberal but I'm dismayed by a certain emptyheaded parroting I'm seeing in 'my' people.

It's not the actions alone which make someone "bad". If your thoughts are evil, that makes you evil.

Thinking that one race is better or worse than another is simply wrong. Thinking that someone is unable to learn as much as someone else simply based on the color of your skin or that they're incapable of doing the same quality work as you just because of the color of their skin isn't right at all.

That's what the Klan stands for and that is why they're bad.

     If one is a member of the KKK, that inherently means that they are racist and violent, as those are the primary goals of the organization and they make no bones about that. Whatever you are attempting to prove, you failed.

Ok, if you take away all the negative actions and mindsets and creeds of the klan, then yes, they are great people.

but they believe that america should only be populated by whites, and that whites are superior genetically, culturally, and mentally.  When, judging through history, they have only been dominant in the world very recently.

America, as it is now, should remain open to anyone.  If you want to get technical, even whites don't belong here, and if they feel that africans should go back to african, they should go back to europe and stop being hypocrits.

I could go on and on, but that's pointless over the internet.  I don't understand what you are arguing, especially if you are claiming that white culture is dying, when in reality, the only parts dying are the bad parts.

if you are saying we are getting our information from bad sources, then tell us.  What is the klan's beliefs?  whats the point of it's existence?  enlighten us, and show us what we are saying is wrong.  The burden is on the klan, and those who support it, to prove that they do not have a negative and racist mindset.

The reason I dislike the klan is because it's members feel obligated to pass their narrow minded and bigoted beliefs on to the rest of us. Not because they burn crosses, but because I don't want them infecting my children with their poison. I don't believe there are klan members who are not racist.  If they aren't, then they're in the wrong group because the klan is all about racism.  They were created as a racist organization.  That's all they know.  That's all they preach.

By the way, I don't know what you mean by your people, but whatever it is, I don't want to be any part of it. So next time you say "my people" please exclude me. I'm very capable of thinking and speaking for myself.
