Liberals, does anybody else find their feelings about Obama changing from day to day?

Seriously, I can't make up my mind how I feel about him.

One day I love him and the next day I hate him. One day I think "Obama you done messed up now, what's the deal with that FISA vote?" then I think "at least he doesn't worship at the church of trickle down economics" then I think "I can't believe he chose a pro-war VP!" then I think "Biden passed the VAWA and is somewhat liberal on domestic issues" then I think "Obama is becoming Republican light" then I think "well he's just doing what he needs to win, even though I might not like all of it"

Back and forth I go like that. Sometimes I think life would be easier if I were a groupthinking con and could just pick my horse and blindly root it on.

Does anybody else feel this way?

  1. I'll give you the same answer I gave last time you asked this question.....and the time before that......No.

    Keep trying though.....

  2. go see a doctor

  3. I'm with you. At the moment, I don't know if I'll be voting Obama or third party. What I do know is that McCain is not an option for me.

I like Obama, and it's not his policies that I doubt, but he does seem to trying to promise everything to everyone, and if elected I'm afraid that will carry over.

Obviously he's the better of the two candidates, but I'm sick of voting for the guy who's not as sh*tty as the other guy. i probably won't make up my mind until I enter the booth on election day.

  4. No.  I'm an Obama supporter.  I certainly wouldn't consider voting for the alternative.

I'm always suspicious of the "heart felt" angst some folks claim to be feeling.  Joe Biden isn't "pro war".  You need to do your homework.  Biden is pro diplomacy but he's not a dove either.

  5. You are not alone, but then you end with an insult directed at those that don't vote Democrat.

The anwer to the insult was the first answer you got!

"No. I'm an Obama supporter. I certainly wouldn't consider voting for the alternative."

Looks like a lot of Democrat voters pick their horse and blindly root it on!

  6. What I found interesting was that after her speech last night, one of the commentators, it may have been Stephanopolis (sp?) remarked, "Wow, I bet a lot of people are rethinking their choice."

I despise the Clintons, but compared to Obama, she's far and away the better candidate.

  7. I've had certain reservations about almost everyone I've voted for including Bill Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Hillary Clinton (primaries) and now Obama.  But, of course, I will vote for him.  The stakes are too high:  just think who the Republicans have put on the Supreme Court.  Think of the Bush policies of the last 8 years.  Think how the Republicans (on the national level) have equated morality with the Bible.  Think of how in love that party is with handguns.  Think of how those idiots Limbaugh and Hannity basically represent the completely messed up idealogy of the party.

Go into the voting booth and vote for Obama.  He's a better choice than McCain despite the reservations.
