I feel neither guilty nor ashamed. You should get out more, and talk with real liberals instead of just listening to Faux news and right wing radio.

At first this hit me as a rhetorical question. Liberals might feel guilty of breaking the moralities that were established once upon a time in our society. But because most people who are liberals only follow the view points of some higher ranking politician who makes the decisions , they can only feel ashamed of being a liberal, not guilty. (Because literaly they haven't done anything)

We're not. Unlike YOU and YOUR party, we think service to our country should be rewarded with care upon return. We think that 47 million americans WITH jobs should be able to afford healthcare. We think that spending billions on Iraqi universal healthcare is utterly unfair to the millions who cannot receive it here. We think that sending our soldiers to be wounded and die in an unjustified war is not only putting them at risk, but also making the US far more vulnerable. It isn't guilt....it's love of country and her people....ALL of her people.
