Liberals and a third Bush Term?

Obama said last night that electing McCain was like giving Bush a 3rd term. Lets just pretend its true. Here is my question libs. Imagin all the wonderful programs you want to bring about, universal health care, Global Warming Relief, MORE welfare, better education for our kids etc. WOuld you want 3 terms of republicans RUNNING those programs?

DO you want GWB to decide your health care, childrens education and to fix global warming? I know i dont.. and i dont want Obama doing it either.

Cant we agree to get these BIG politicians hands OUT OF THIS c**p?

We dont want WASHINGTON deciding our Health care.

They don't care about the government.  They don't care who's the most qualified to run the goverment.  As long as they're being provided with things, they don't care who's providing them.

Yes i would want that when the alternative is no health care..There is nothing wrong with our Government extending a helping hand to the citizens of of America, i mean after all our Gov. is helping the citizen of nearly every other country in the world....

i wouldnt say libs are so bad for the reason that conservatives arent so better for one the patriot act what is so patriotic about it? Its basically saying ahhh let me take ur rights away and if you dont what is so patriotic about it and g*y marraige what happened to seperation of church and state banning g*y marraige as a constitutional amendment is wrong for the fact that the consitution was made to insure right not take them away so the libs just the goverment doing everything for you and what about bush's promise to privatize social security back in the 2000  election i dont know about you but my i still did not get to invest a dime of that money and as someone with out medical care who can not afford it h**l yea i hope they do other countries have it such as our neighboor canada

government cant do anything right. we spend more money on education every year and never see improvement. we have Medicaid, husky, and all sorts of welfare programs yet they say 45 million people don't have health care. how can Washington solve a global warming issue even if america cut all carbon emissions, the rest of the world wouldn't. and it wont make a difference. green house gases are an effect of higher temperatures not the other way around.

Sigh.  The healthcare system of the US is failing Americans.

Look at the death rates of American children.  

Despite the USA spending more money on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet, it has one of the highest rates of dead kids in the industrialised world.

The death rates are lower in western European countries with a government run healthcare system.

Tommy Douglas was a politican from the west who became Premier of Saskatchewan - he introduced medical care as a government funded right of the people

The doctors not being able to make huge amounts of money anymore would have to settle for moderately rich - lower upper class at best

They spread rumors that the government would be reading patient files and when that didn't work they went on strike

A Provincal strike that put all persons in the Province in danger because these Drs would have to do with only 5 times the average wage

They frightened the people enough that Douglas was almost defeated over it - Although he barely hung on and made Medicare a Canadian tradition it would not be brought into the federal level of politics until Pierre Eliot Trudeau

Douglas entered federal politics but to no avail his western based party never got anywhere Nonetheless Tommy Douglas was watched as a dangerous socialist by the RCMP

Medicare did not bankrupt the UK or Canada or the European nations that have had national health for decades - These are the nations that make it on the highest quality of life ......
