Libras like to balance things? What does that even mean?

As a Libra, I don't see how I balance anything. I tend to give much more priority to certain things in my life than others. I don't see how I'm balanced...And yes, I know that Libras are not necessarily balanced, but rather strive for balance and fairness in life...but I've yet to find that in myself...I feel that this description is too vague.

How would you define "balance"?

Well "balancing things" would mean to weigh a situation and analyze all parts of it, coming up with many solutions before making a decision in life.

i would define it as "fair" or thinking "everyone has a right to their own opinions, live and let live" even if u completely disagree or just diplomatic

I think that fair, balanced and equality is used to often when describing and referring to this sign - its vague at best and denotes the obvious characteristics of these descriptions...though I don't always think they are completely accurate...I think you tend to rebel against lots of different things...this is a way for you to get a better idea of a bigger picture...to see from all sides and angles of a situation....I think the balance part refers to this....

I also think that with experience and wisdom will come your eagerness for equality as well .... maybe not so much with yourself and others but for others in general....I think you need to stop trying to read between the lines on this and just let it go - it will come to you when you will need it the most - just have faith in your abilities as a person! We don't always have all the answers to our questions when we first seek for some kind of truth...some times you have to stop looking before you can actually see it clearly....does that make sense?!

LOL...hope you could understand any of that...lol...I hope you don't mind what I said - none of it was meant to sound mean in any way - though I understand that sometimes I come off that way sometimes without realizing it! I would definitely think you do enjoy a good debate - and I bet you could debate an argument well even if your heart wasn't completely in it! That would be your gift of gab - and also add eloquence of stating your point directly without insult - you do very well at this! But yes - I have also seen you in full force a time or two and would not want to be on your bad side! lol!

I think you are still searching - which is okay - you do seek truth but I think more so for yourself than others (again this is not a bad thing!)....I think you are kind of finding yourself....this is good! Just stop trying to look in the mirror - sometimes it's hard for us to see what others see in us...it will come...you have more qualities and potential in a lot of different ways that I think you are busy questioning right now...too busy to really see any of them - most of the regulars here do see a lot from you and I think of a lot of it you don't see in yourself yet....you will...you seem to be so busy 'finding' the balance and where its suppose to come from.....stop it! LOL! when you throw your arms up in the air out of some kind of aggression to get a point across....lol...I bet they are evenly away from the body and at equal height with each other - lol - this can also be considered balance and equality!

When you play the piano....I bet you are a perfectionist - because you are striving to achieve a balance between you the music and your ability to play!!!!! Just breathe....relax....let some spirit out...lol...and let your heart sing a simple song...lol...this can also be harmony...lol...

***no there is certainly no stifling or muzzling you  - that is for sure - which is one of the reasons we all love you here! lol!

But this does not take away from balance but rather can enhance your awareness of it and is why you are open and opinionated at the same time.....you might not always like what you hear...but you do hear it and take it in...some times you just rebel against it...I think it is a way to find your own type of boudaries....I think you have a personal 'bubble' and just do what you can to prtect it from others trying to pop it...that's okay too....

That may be due to your rising sign. Plus, nobody matches up perfectly to their sun sign.

I believe the term "balance" for a Libra, is that you like to be fair, look at both sides of a situation. Or it may mean balance in terms of harmony  and keeping the environment peaceful.

"Balance" not only refers to the external things around you but also your inner being...your needs. You say you tend to give more priority to certain things more-so than others....when you are doing that is it because you feel that the other things will be okay for the time being? That is you, the Libra, trying to balance things out.

I guess a better word than "balance" would be "oppositional".  

Librans automatically take the opposing viewpoint FOR BALANCE.  They do not do this consciously, but rather compulsively.

I try to balance things.  But I tend to get very indecisive about what or how I am gonna do I.  Making me a big procrastinator. I try to see the beauty in all things.  I try not to take sides in a situation.  Each person has something going on in their life for a reason and if I can be a comfort to them so be it.
